King Lear 2014

this was a budget production in assosiation with Oldham Theatre Workshop and Gerry Flanagan. this was my very first costume commision in theatre, they needed costumes for a small cast that tell the story of Shakespeare's King Lear. they needed to be cheap and hopefully pieced together from previous productions wardrobe. I spent 1 week with the cast and director to get a feel from what they were aiming for and wanting to achieve, they ended with having the cast tell te story after the events occur from the perspective of the peasants and imitating each member of the story. using only one item to imitate each character.
