AberMaCs stands for Aberystwyth University Make-up and Costume society. It was a society I joined in my first year and has helped me develop skills in costume and make-up, whether that be special effects or creating a natural look for various media (theatre, tv, photography, etc). The projects here are the ones that I had become Heavily involved in. The Steampunk shoot I helped to piece together the costumes from the societies range of costumes and other peoples personal clothing, and getting the full look by making subtle changes to their hair and adding very little changes to a natural make-up look. The Superhero shoot i helped do a last minute fit with the costume manager as her costumes weren't ready in time, i had already taken upon myself to make the Elektra costume within 1 week as well as some props. After this I became costume manager and did the seasons shoot, this was roughly based on the 4 seasons of the year.
